Its the right part of the episode but the wrong rule =P... I'll give one more clue

Think of how he found out that bikers name, just by hearing his name doesn't guarantee that he will be able to kill him (and this has nothing to do with looking at his face becuase he got a clear look at his face)...

"If a Death Note owner accidentally misspells a person's name four times, that person will be free from being killed by the Death Note. However, if the Death Note owner intentionally misspells the name four times, the owner will die."

This one? That's my last guess after that I give up. XD

Im very sure its the one how you can know their name, but they HAVE to be the person on who they(the writer) says they are? (if that made sense?)

my guess is this rule:

"Anyone's name written in this book shall die"

Don't think that was mentioned in the rules in the first episode.......

I didn't know if it was right and don't know if or where it happened. XD

I already said in the first post that the scene is in the first episode =3

I don't have a screen but I think it's the scene I already mentioned with the Biker. If you look at the Book when he writes in the name I think he already wrote it down but missspelled it. I'm not sure I can't read it but the line above the one he is writing is kind of similar.

If you look at the book during that scene you will see the name writen down multiple times because he doesn't know the spelling of the name. After all he only heard the guy say his name.

That wasn't an easy one. The scene where he writes the name is very short and since I can't read it I didn't notice it. ^^
